Finding a Property
SLM manage a range of houses and flats for rent to suit all tastes and budgets. Tenancies are usually offered for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months but the term may be negotiable for certain properties.

When you find a suitable property
To arrange to view a selected property please telephone your local SLM office or email SLM.
After viewing, if you wish to apply for the tenancy you will need to complete an application form and to pay an administration fee to cover the cost of obtaining necessary credit checks and references.
On signing the tenancy agreement, we require advance payment of one month's rent together with a deposit. By renting through SLM your deposit will be protected by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme for Regulated Agents (TDSRA) which is a government approved independent body.Your deposit will be returned promptly when you leave the property provided that you have not breached your tenancy agreement and subject to a satisfactory final inventory check.The TDSRA will provide fair and independent adjudication of any dispute over damages and breakages at no cost to the tenant.
Please note if you leave before the end of your tenancy agreement you will be liable for all rent monies owed until the end of the agreed term.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise the tenant(s) will be responsible for payment of Council Tax, Water Rates, Gas, Electricity and Telephone costs.
Tenants are responsible for their own contents and should arrange appropriate insurance cover. SLM can help arrange contents insurance cover please ask for details.
